Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 2026Secure SSL & AES Encryption

1. Introduction

Oushod Khabo (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Oushod Khabo mobile application. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal health information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, share, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related website.

By installing, registering, or accessing the application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use our application.

2. Information Collection & Usage

We collect information necessary to provide, manage, and optimize our medicine reminder services. This includes:

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect credentials such as your email address, phone number, and name to create your user profile and sync details.
  • Family Profiles: You may add details (name, age, relationship, gender) for family members you choose to track. This information is stored securely.
  • Medication Data: We store schedules, medicine names, strengths, timings, doses, and compliance logs (whether you took, missed, or snoozed a pill).

3. Device Permissions & Integrations

To deliver accurate and reliable reminders, the application requests the following permissions on your mobile device:

  • Notification Permissions: Required to send you standard pill alarms, push alerts, and low-stock drawer warnings.
  • Full Screen Intents: Required to launch high-priority screen overrides for life-critical medicine timings, guaranteeing you notice them.
  • Battery Optimization Exemption: Bypasses strict background limits to ensure alarms execute exactly on time, every time.

4. Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized telemetry data (such as app crash logs, device model, operating system version, and feature clicks) to diagnose system errors and improve overall usability. This analytics data cannot be traced back to identify individual users or specific health schedules.

5. Data Security & Storage

The security of your information is our highest priority. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is secured using Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL). Sensitive database records, family logs, and compliance logs are encrypted using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256).

While we implement robust encryption standards, no method of transmission over the Internet or cellular networks is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, rent, or transfer your medical data to third parties. We may use verified third-party utilities solely for:

  • Push notification deliveries (e.g. Firebase Cloud Messaging).
  • Anonymized diagnostic performance reports (e.g. Sentry, Crashlytics).

7. Your Rights & Data Erasure

You retain full ownership of your data. You have the right to request a copy of your stored records, request modifications to correct inaccuracies, or trigger a complete erasure of your account.

To request permanent erasure, you can select “Delete Account” inside settings, or contact us at ndmorsalin99@gmail.com. We will wipe your details from our active servers within 7 business days.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account profile and schedule history for as long as your account remains active. If your account is inactive for more than 18 consecutive months, we reserve the right to anonymize or permanently delete your schedules from our server databases.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for unsupervised children under the age of 13. While parents may add profiles for their children to track their dosage, we do not knowingly collect personal contact information from children under 13 directly.
